New Music Friday – Today we celebrate our first international release coming from Malford Milligan & The Southern Aces. Life Will Humble You is an intense & autobiographical album about reflecting on life, losing people and gaining wisdom. Milligan and co-writer Jack Hustinx sing about the roads they have travelled have been an interesting and meaningful journey, teaching them that “life will humble you” as you go along, with all its ups & downs and pros & cons.

Musically this is Malford Milligan going back to his bare roots, a perfect melting-pot of traditional old-school soul and r&b, country-soul as recorded at the Muscle Shoals and Stax studios, some Southern gospel, and several other essential musical ingredients from the Southern parts of the United States. Malford Milligan & The Southern Aces release their new song called Desperate Decisions

Malford Milligan wrote this song together with friend & producer Jack Hustinx. Desperate Decisions is a fragile Soul-ballad about the wrong decisions that are often being made when you’re in a desperate and depressed mindset, and how this can totally derail and devastate your loved ones. It’s the ultimate outcry for love, understanding, compassion and forgiveness.

Desperate Decisions is now released digitally and available at all streaming services and download-stores. The song will appear on the album ‘Life Will Humble You’ which will be released next Friday, October 26th.
